Needs Assessment

c3ms begins every project by asking “Why digital signage?” This simple question allows us to use our experience, guiding our clients on a journey of discovery that helps uncover the business issues that can be addressed through implementation of a digital signage solution. At the same time, we think about additional applications that can provide value and/or cost savings in other areas of the business as well.

Client Goals

Once the business issues have been identified, we develop a clear set of metrics that our client agrees will define a successful outcome for their particular set of circumstances. For some it may be as simple as an increase in dollars-spent-per-transaction. For others it may be more complex such as associating a set of business rules to point-of-sale data to help move specific inventory, or generating income from an advertising or sponsorship program.

Digital signage is still emerging as an industry and constant advances in technology means new features and functionality are constantly becoming available. For this reason, c3ms has chosen to take a neutral position with respect to technology. By keeping up to date on current offerings from leading hardware and software companies, we are in a position to integrate the most current and appropriate solution for every new project.

New Projects

We believe every project must begin with a small-scale pilot program. A pilot allows for the opportunity to validate the needs analysis assumptions and to test the install process, hardware/software, data collection and reporting, etc. A pilot also allows time to analyze workflow integration, content effectiveness, as well as customer, employee and management reactions. At the end of the pilot timeframe a review is conducted to analyze data, compare successes vs. failures, and make changes/recommendations for large-scale rollout.
